PERC Works!

In the PERC model, typical students, mostly 9th and 10th graders who have entered high school with low academic proficiency, improve on state test scores and meet college readiness benchmarks.

NYC High School Students Prepare for College in PERC Classes

Typical PERC students and TASs begin the program with below-average Math and ELA Regent test scores, but they improve significantly over the course of the program. TASs especially gain in college readiness, becoming 2.4 times more likely to reach college benchmarks compared to well-matched peers from other schools.
