TAS Summer Advance
TAS students are highly encouraged to use the summer as an opportunity to advance their academic career.
TASs should either enroll in high school courses that further their progress towards college-readiness or college courses that advance their progress to success in college. The TAS Summer Advance is a series of courses and research opportunities that are offered at the participating CUNY colleges and in partnership with College Now. All students who have been a TAS are encouraged to participate in the TAS Summer Advance. TAS Summer Advance is part of the TAS Pipeline.

PERC Courses
- For TASs with <80 on Algebra 1 Regents
BLAST OFF!
Helps TASs achieve over 80 on Integrated Algebra Regents.
(1 math or science elective credit)
- For TASs who had schedule conflicts during school year
GEOMETRY
Maintain math sequence
(2 math credits)
College Now courses
- For TASs with >80 on Algebra 1 Regents but <75 on ELA
CRITICAL THINKING
Learn to think more clearly, insightfully and effectively.
(3 college credits)
- For TASs with >75 on ELA Regents and >80 on Algebra 1 Regents
